THE BOOK FAIR IS HERE!
The Fallsmead PTA is hosting a Scholastic Book FairMonday, November 9 - Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the School's Media Center. Preview Day is on Monday Nov 9th and all students will get a chance to make a book 'Wish List'.Students will visit the fair again with their class on one of the Sales Days (Tues - Thurs) during school hours. Please send in money or check (payable to Fallsmead PTA) with your child on the designated Book Fair visit day for his/her class.  The class visit schedule will be included in the book fair flier coming home this week.  

The Book Fair will be open from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm and parents are encouraged to visit the fair before and after school hours Tuesday- Thursday. Visit the Book Fairwebsite for additional details or to purchase books online. Please help expand classroom libraries by purchasing and donating a book from the "Teacher Wish List", which will be displayed at the Media Center.

To make this book fair a success, we need parent volunteers, especially for Thursday, Nov. 12th. Please sign up here or email us here if you can help. Thank you to everyone who has already volunteered to help with this exciting event for our students!

KIDSCO PARENTS' NIGHT OUT
Parents' night out = Kids' night in!  Kids can join KidsCo for a fun DJ dance party with games and prizes on Friday, November 6th from 6:45 to 9 pm.  Pizza will also be served.  The cost of this event is $20.  You can sign up onlinehere and create an account, or use your existing account - or you can return the attached form to KidsCo.
GIRLS SCOUTS USED BOOK DRIVE
The Girl Scout Troops of Fallsmead have been hard at work on a fantastic joint service project - a used book drive for our school! In conjunction with the Book Fair, students can bring in a used book during the week of November 9th - 13th to donate to the book drive. Books should be in excellent condition and be appropriate reading levels for grades K - 5. Stay tuned for specific details coming home next week!
WOOTTON FEASIBILITY STUDY
Wootton is scheduled to be revitalized/expanded starting in 2019. This year is their feasibility study and there are going to be several working sessions to get feedback from Wootton stakeholders. The remaining meeting will take place in the Wootton Auditorium on Wednesday, December 2nd at 7 pm.
 
The PTSA Final Presentation is schedueld for Tuesday, December 15th at 7 pm.
