Don't forget! Teacher wish lists can always be accessed here.

WOOTTON CLUSTER NIGHT All Wootton Cluster families are invited to Cluster Night on Friday, October 2nd. We also would like to announce a very special commemoration to honor the memory of the late Dr. Michael Doran. Kick-off is at 6:30 pm and students arriving by 6:00 pm may run out on the field with the Patriots. A door prize is available for the first 200 cluster students and each student will receive a special treat (while supplies last). Come join the excitement - football, cheerleaders, poms, marching band, concessions and more! You can download more info here.

In addition, this year we are "stuffing a truck" with a MANNA food drive. We would like to stuff a truck full of groceries for the needy. Check out the needed items and plan to bring them with you as you cheer on the Patriots as they play the Clarksburg

Please join us for our first PTA meeting of the year on Tuesday, October 6th 7 pm in the Media Center.

New Parents, please come at 6 pm for a warm welcome to the Fallsmead community and meet other parents in the same shoes! Volunteer training will also be offered 6:45 - 7 pm. Childcare will be available in the All Purpose Room from 6:45 - 9 pm for children age 4 and older. Please note that children must be toilet trained.

NATIONAL WALK/BIKE TO SCHOOL DAY! Please join us for our annual Walk/Bike to School Day on Wednesday, October 7th! Help us encourage students to wear green and walk or bike to school that day to promote living a healthy lifestyle and protecting our environment.

Also cheer us on as staff and students parade through the Fallsmead neighborhood at the start of the school day to promote the health and environmental benefits of daily exercise. Please ensure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. See the attached flyer for more information and a copy of our parade route.

FIRST MOVIE NIGHT OF THE YEAR! Join us for the first Family Movie Night of the year, Friday, October 9th. The first showing will be the movie "Home" at 6 pm and the second showing will be "The SpongeBob Movie" at 8 pm.

Pizza, subs, salads, popcorn, and Jamba Juice will be available for purchase. Don't forget to come in your PJs, bring your blanket and pillow, and enjoy a movie with your family and friends!

Cut Box Tops, bring them in to school, and make money for Fallsmead! Turn in your Box Tops by the first deadline of October 23rd. The top grade will win a prize!

FLES language classes are starting soon. If your child is interested in learning a foreign language, please register online here. Email here with questions.

There are food establishments, auto care establishments and even a personal care establishment participating on our discount card - please see the attached flyer for a complete list.

For only $20, you get unlimited use until September 30, 2016. If you'd like to purchase a card, just fill out the attached flyer and send in your check made out to Fallsmead ES PTA and the card will go home with your child. Please contact Jennifer Derman with any questions.

Now that you have verified your Fallsmead ES Directory data, don't forget that you can access the directory information - including student/parent/teacher info, class lists, and even school lunch menus and the school/PTA calendar - online or via app. Visit here to find out how! All Fallsmead parents who have verified their directory data will have access to the apps through the end of October. After that, they will only be available to Fallsmead PTA members.

The yearbook committee is in need of a couple more volunteers to help out with logistics. And, they would also like to remind everyone of the importance of taking and submitting pictures (preferably non phone photos) throughout the year. It's not too early to start collecting so they can be sure to provide families with an awesome yearbook! Pleaseemail if you can help or have photos to share.
