VISION AND HEARING TESTING VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Fallsmead Elementary's annualhearing and vision screening is scheduled for Thursday, May 3rd, and Friday, May 4th. Volunteers are needed to help pick students up from their classrooms and direct them to the testing area. The testing is scheduled from 9:15am until 3 pm each day. If you are able to help for a couple of hours, please contact our school nurse, Rosina Chazin, atRosina_L_Chazin@mcpsmd.org.
NEXT PTA MEETING
Save the date! Our next PTA meeting will be Tuesday, May 8th, at 7pm. Babysitting will be available from 7-8:30pm for children ages 4 and older. Children must be toilet trained to participate. Come find out what is going on with your PTA!
PROVIDE YOUR INPUT ON THE NEW MCPS CURRICULUM
MCPS announced last month that it is planning on replacing its current educational curriculum. To assist in the process, MCPS is seeking feedback on the new curriculum rollout process and plans. SPRING FAIR SAVE THE DATE!
Spring Fair will be held on Sunday, May 20th, from 5:30-8pm! We will have bounce houses, soccer, balloons, snow cones, games, a dj, face-painting, and more! The cost is $10 per child, and adults and incoming kindergarteners are free. Be sure to bring money for spirit wear and food trucks.
