PTA MEETING NEXT WEEK
Our last PTA meeting of the year will be next Tuesday, May 8th, at 7pm. Babysitting will be available from 7-8:30pm for children ages 4 and older. Children must be toilet trained to participate. Join us so that you can find out what is going on with your PTA!
SPRING FAIR IS COMING UP!
Spring Fair is coming up on Sunday, May 20th, from 5:30-8pm! We will have bounce houses, soccer, balloons, snow cones, games, a dj, face-painting, and more! The cost is $10 per child, and adults and incoming kindergarteners are free. Be sure to bring money for spirit wear and food trucks.
Also, teachers will be raffling off special activities at Spring Fair- $1 to get in so start saving your singles (or better yet bring a $5 and enter 5 times)!

FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS
Please join us Wednesday, May 16th, from 7-8:15 pm for our annual Festival of the Arts! The evening will begin with a musical performance by our 5th grade chorus, followed by instrumental music performances starting at 7:30 by our wandering musicians. Finally, walk around the school and view the art exhibit which includes art from every student in the school!

If so, you're in luck! The Yearbook Committee will have a limited supply of yearbooks available for purchase for $30 each. PROVIDE YOUR INPUT ON THE NEW MCPS CURRICULUM
MCPS announced last month that it is planning on replacing its current educational curriculum. To assist in the process, MCPS is seeking feedback on the new curriculum rollout process and plans. FALLSMEAD CAREER DAY
Fallsmead Elementary Career Day is coming up on Tuesday, June 5th, from 9-11:00am, and the school is looking for parents who are interested in being speakers.
Speakers are on a first come, first served basis. Speakers should plan to speak for about 20 minutes each to several groups of about 25 students. All grade levels will participate. Students will rotate classrooms. The structure of the day is subject to change depending on the number of speakers.
