Your event date should be listed on the master calendar.
All events have budgets; please discuss this with your designated VP.
Recruit additional committee members to help both for the planning of your event/activity and to help the day of the event.
Determine how you are going to communicate your event to the Fallsmead Community:
Email Newsletter - Send a brief message to be included in the weekly newsletter to vp1@fallsmeadpta.org no later than Wednesday at noon. The message will be included in the weekly newsletter that is sent out on Thursday morning.
Flyers - Anyone who wishes to send home a flyer is responsible for developing one on their own. The PTA logo should be included somewhere on the document. You can get the logo by emailing vp1@fallsmeadpta.org. Drafts of flyers are due to the VP of Communications by the end of the day on Monday in order to allow for enough time for approval. Please send your flyer to vp1@fallsmeadpta.org. Once approved, you are responsible for making copies. Flyers must be in the teachers’ mailboxes by end of the school day on Thursday in order to go home on Friday.
Facebook - We can also post about your event on the Fallsmead PTA Facebook page.
Morning Announcements - Event blurbs and/or visuals (e.g., videos, flyers formatted as jpgs, or PowerPoint/Google Slides) must be submitted to vp1@fallsmeadpta.org by Thursday of the week before you want your announcement to be included in the morning announcements.
