Each student will receive a four month membership in a special Silver Knights Chess club within We’ll be running regular tournaments, chances to challenge coaches, and broadcasts of games and analysis. Students will also get access to great animated online lessons (suitable for all levels), tactics puzzles, and the ability to play other students, just like they do in chess club!

For Coding, we can mail to the enrolled student a laptop and curriculum like we use in the classes! For LEGO Robotics, we can send enrolled students a WeDo 2.0 LEGO Robotics kit and a Kindle Fire with our curriculum on it, so they can continue learning at home! Families can join a closed Facebook group connected to our Silver Knights Facebook page for coding or robotics, and share information about their coding challenges or photos of their robot builds and share tips on the curriculum.

Safety First

Dismissal time is hectic for students and staff. To help the staff assure your child gets to the right place, parents please be aware of the following:

  1. You must send a note to your child's teacher to dismiss your child to the after school activity. Be sure to include the name of the activity and day of the week it meets.
  2. Kindergarten students typically need time to adjust to the school and new routines. Kindergarten students may NOT sign up for after school activities until the Winter session.
